Mr Phil Edwards speak with Dermot after his talk about Weald Electric Bikes.
Using a Yahama 1984 XJ600 frame he produced his first all electric bike and managed to smash the world record for a 1/4 mile standing start with a time of 14.1 seconds.

Group night August25^th 2011 saw the return of Vines BMW and Bowen Motorcycles who both brought us a variety of different bikes with varying degrees of sportiness. Although the crowd this time was a bit smaller than previous club nights which probably had something to do with it raining however it didn’t dampen enthusiasm.

The line up from Vines included F800GS, K1600GT, R1200RT, GS1200 and a GS 1200 Adventure

KAMG members at Afghan Heros Manston Air show

Some of the KAMG members found loitering at Manston Air show having ridden down from Ebbsfleet in support of the Afghan Heros rally on Sunday 14 August. It was estimated that nearly 1,000 bikes took part. Other members of the KAMG acted as marshals.
